KODI Radio Logo

The Worland Warrior Basketball Team is preparing for a Wyoming 3A State Title run.

After a tremendous Regional Tournament that included a come-from-behind win over Mountain View 45-27.

The epic double overtime win against Lovell 64-62, and the Regional Championship victory against Lyman 52-42.

The Warriors would get the number 1 seed out of the West Conference.

With the State Championships this week in Casper starting Thursday, March 9th thru the 11th.

The Warriors have Five Seniors who will give it one last run for a Championship.

Carter Clark, Kade Weber, Court Gonsalez, Brock Douzenis, and Landen Gillmore all made major contributions to the 2021 State Championship Team.

All 5 were also on the 2022 team that fell short of the goal.

As Starters this year all 5 know and understand both feelings.

With a strong bench and rotation of Juniors Owen Page, Chase Harris, Tyshon Swalstad, and Tyler Kidgell.

Sophomores Bryan Caballero, Brody Thiel, and Masen Decker will all help with a Title Run.

We had a chance to catch up with a busy Aaron Abel and talked about the Torrington team and what the Warriors would be facing.

The schedule for the State Tournament.
